The Driftwood is a rotomould with feeling. It looks and feels like a piece of log, its grainy epidermis (top side only for obvious reasons) is just barking. It’s a totally new, innovative, working piece of kit.

The looks aside, this is 11ft 4 (3.44mtrs) of maneuverable kayak: its streamlined hull is the basis for a comfortable cockpit and precision balance aided by foot operated rudder makes this an awesome kayak.

Once again I find myself repeating myself, this is not a prototype, the Driftwood will be on your local retailers rack by mid June.

These pictures don’t do the Driftwood justice and I take full responsibility for that, but I have the first one off the production line on the way via our good friends in Germany. It should be in the mobile sales unit by the end of May.
