We launched the Driftwood at this year Shanghai Boatshow 2012 and if you determined sales by touch, this would the bookies favourite. There was a constant stream of traffic up to feel this beauty.

The Driftwood is a rotomould with feeling. It looks and feels like a piece of log, its grainy epidermis (top side only for obvious reasons) is just barking. It’s a totally new, innovative, working piece of kit.

The looks aside, this is 11ft 4 (3.44mtrs) of maneuverable kayak: its streamlined hull is the basis for a comfortable cockpit and precision balance aided by foot operated rudder makes this an awesome kayak.

Once again I find myself repeating myself, this is not a prototype, the Driftwood will be on your local retailers rack by mid June.

These pictures don’t do the Driftwood justice and I take full responsibility for that, but I have the first one off the production line on the way via our good friends in Germany. It should be in the mobile sales unit by the end of May.

If you’d like to have a look at the most innovative kayak on the market today, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
